It's early autumn, September, and the heat hasn't subsided yet.

KBS News Plaza video from the 1st week of SeptemberThe things I noticed were, of course,festivals๐ŸŽ‰

I've personally visited La Venice in Gimpo a few times,

and I recommend visiting as it's a great place for a night stroll with your lover or family.

The 1st Seoul Sculpture Festival and Seoul Light DDP 2024 Autumn Exhibition, which are running until this weekend, seem like must-sees.

Janghang Wetlands

Designated as a Wetland Conservation Area by the Ministry of Environment in 2006Janghang Wetlands stretches from the Singok Water Control Weir under the Gimpo Bridge on the Seoul Outer Ring Road

to Ilsan Bridge, covering approximately 7.6km. As the only one of Korea's four major rivers where the river mouth is not blocked by a dike,

it forms a brackish water ecosystem where river and seawater intermingle. Because it has been off-limits to civilians for a long time,

it is home to the largest number of plants and animals among the Han River Estuary wetlands.

Janghang Wetlands is Korea's largest willow groveand a wintering ground for migratory birds.

The willow forest that stretches along the Han River is a breathtaking sight rarely seen in Korea.

It's a haven for wildlife, with over 40 species and 20,000 individuals of migratory birds, including the red-crowned crane, a natural monument and Environment Ministry-designated endangered species of level 2, as well as the greater white-fronted goose and mallard.

It's a haven for wildlife.

Ecological experience programsare being operated, and you can contact Goyang City's Environmental Protection Division to book your visit.

Hapdeok Cathedral

Hapdeok Cathedral, the first parish in Chungcheong-do, began as Yangchon Cathedral, built in Sanggung-ri, Godeok-myeon, Yesan-gun,

and was moved to its current location in 1899 and renamed Hapdeok Cathedral.

Father Perrin then built the Gothic-style cathedral building in 1929.

Located on a gentle slope, the cathedral is characterized by its twin bell towers on the front.

The front of the building has three entrances and three windows, all topped with arched shapes.

The exterior walls are made of red bricks, and the window frames and corners of the bell towers are built with gray bricks.

Diamond-shaped decorations made of gray brick have been added to the lower part of the windows and each face of the bell tower.

Nearby attractions include Solmoe Holy Ground, Hapdeok Lake Riverside Park, and Hapdeok Watermill Folk Museum.
