The filming location that appears in the flashback scene where Lee Jae and Ji-soo first met is in front of the Gyeongnong Building at Seoul National University.

Bridge in front of Seoul National University's Gyeongnong Building

The Gyeongnong Building was built in 1937 during the Japanese colonial period, following the typical school architectural style of the time.

It was built with red bricks and a wooden truss roof in a symmetrical left-right design.

During a detailed safety inspection conducted in 2012, it received a Grade E rating, requiring an immediate ban on building use, and

there were opinions that the Gyeongnong Building, which symbolizes the Gyeongnong era, should be demolished to eliminate the remnants of Japanese imperialism.

However, the opposition from the university community to the demolition of the Gyeongnong Building was fierce.

The Gyeongnong Building was valuable as a historical record of modern architecture from the Japanese colonial period, to the extent that it was registered as a Seoul City registered cultural property.

Since the majority of those who built the Gyeongnong Building and the students who studied at Gyeongnong during the Gyeongnong period were colonized Koreans,

there was also a view that it was inappropriate to view the Gyeongnong Building solely as a remnant of Japanese imperialism.

Ultimately, Seoul National University decided to renovate the Gyeongnong Building.

Initially, the focus was on improving structural safety and thermal insulation performance, but during the construction process, a proposal from Professor Lee Chung-gi of the Department of Architecture was

adopted, shifting the direction from simple renovation to remodeling.

Under Professor Lee's direction, the Gyeongnong Building regained its red brick exterior, and the ceiling was removed to increase the ceiling height,

revealing the original wooden truss.

Through this remodeling, which was close to restoration, the Gyeongnong Building was reborn.
