Beopgi Reservoir

Address:198-13, Beopgi-ro, Yangsan-si, Gyeongsangnam-do

An arboretum consisting of 644 trees of 7 species, with a phytoncide forest bath made of Japanese cedar.

Built in 1927 and completed in 1932, it is an earthen dam with a different landscape from concrete dams. Recommended as a hidden gem in Yangsan City!

It was closed for water source protection, but it was opened to the public for the first time in 79 years in 2011.

The surrounding trail was opened in 2012, but access restrictions were strengthened in 2013 due to increased garbage disposal, and it was converted to partial opening.

Leaving the woods, there are stairs leading up to the top of the dam, and 123 cement stairs that go up diagonally from the center of the dam are

affectionately called the 'Sky Stairs'. Recommended to visit in autumn.
