K26 Diving Pool

This is the location where No Young-won was proposed by Choi Jae-jin while freediving in Gapyeong.

A diving pool with the deepest depth in Asia, with a stepped depth of 1.3m, 2.5m, 5m, 10m, and 26m.

It uses Gapyeong groundwater to maintain a water temperature of 29 degrees Celsius.

It is composed of a vertical cave, a horizontal cave, and an air pocket (diving bell) for diver introduction, freediving, scuba technique training,

underwater rescue training, air pocket experience, industrial diving, and military training.

People who visit K26 often stop by because it's close by.

The location is a bit inconvenient, so I wouldn't recommend visiting just for the chicken stir-fry.

Sagewood Hongcheon

Kkotji Beach

Jae-jin finally returns to his family after ending his ‘second childhood’ and becomes a true son to his mother, Hong Yeo-sa.

The two of them talk at Kkotji Beach, known for its beautiful sunsets.

The white sand beach that extends for 5 km, together with Halbae Rock and Halmae Rock, create a picturesque landscape.

The sunset that dyes the sky red beyond the two rocks is considered the best of the beautiful scenery that symbolizes Taean.

Since ancient times, the beach has been covered with roses, earning it the beautiful name ‘Kkotji’.

A sad legend is associated with the two rocks that symbolize Kkotji Beach.

During the Silla Dynasty, Jang Bogo, the maritime king, had a base in Anmyeondo, and Seung-eon, the base commander, and his wife, Mido, were very close.

However, Seung-eon, who went on an expedition, did not return, and Mido, who waited for her husband only looking at the sea, became Halmae Rock after she died.

A large rock a little further out to sea from Halmae Rock naturally became Halbae Rock.

The two rocks facing each other as if to greet the husband who went out to sea look affectionate.

At low tide, you can see the two rocks connected by a sandbar as if they are one body.

Not only in the summer, but also throughout the year, tourists continue to visitthe sunset that harmonizes with the rocks .

Square 81

Address: 3F, New Seoul Plaza, 1371, Jungang-ro, Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do

The building's exterior may look old, but it's a large cafe with a 600-pyeong (1,980 sq m) space and 400 seats, which is a surprise.

It's full of things to see, including works by famous Spanish illustrators, various imported groceries, tableware, and fabrics sold at editing shops.
