Cherry blossoms are the flowers of plants belonging to the genus Prunus, subgenus Japanese cherry, and section Cerasus within the Rosaceae family.
They bloom throughout the temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere, including countries like Korea, Japan, China, Nepal, Taiwan, Iran, and the United States.
When three or more flowers bloom on a single branch of a standard observation tree, it is considered 'blooming'. When 80% or more of the flowers on the entire tree are in bloom, it is referred to as 'full bloom'.
