Cheongpyeong Lake

An artificial lake located in Hoegok-ri, Seorak-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do.

With an area of 12.5㎢, a maximum surface area of 19㎢, and a reservoir capacity of 180 million tons, it was created when the Cheongpyeong Dam was completed in 1943.

The scenic drive course around the lake is considered one of the eight scenic spots of Gapyeong.

The definition of Pyongyang naengmyeon itself is very simple: cold buckwheat noodles seasoned with dongchimi-mixed meat broth.

It's not a naengmyeon with a sweet and sour taste, but a cold buckwheat noodle with a subtle meat broth flavor,

and among those, the one with a complex and hard-to-explain taste is considered the best.
