In episode 13 of 'The Queen of Tears,' the possibility of treating Hae-in's brain tumor increases, leading the drama into its climax.

The writer chose one of the typical Korean drama clichés: <Survival vs. Memory Loss>.

It's a bit cliché, but it seems like they're overcoming it with the actors' performances and directing.

Today, I'm introducing the filming locations featured in episode 13 of 'The Queen of Tears.'

Gurang-ri Station Rail Bike (Mungyeong Rail Bike)

This is Korea's first rail bike, developed 20 years ago by transforming the railway that used to carry coal after the coal mining industry declined.

It's considered the first scenic spot among the eight scenic spots of Mungyeong. You can enjoy the scenery and surrounding mountains while enjoying the cool breeze as you slowly ride along the railway beside Jinnamgyoban and Yeonggang River, making it a unique experience for healing.

There are 2-seater and 4-seater bikes, making it a light leisure facility where you can create memories with your lover, friends, and family while enjoying nature.

The rail bike riding section is divided into 3 courses based on the departure point and takes approximately 50 minutes to 1 hour round trip. Closed on Mondays.

Jinnam Station - Gurang-ri section: 3.6km round trip 7.2km,

Gurang-ri Station - Meokbaengi section: 3.3km round trip 6.6km

Gaeun Station - Meokbaengi section: 3.2km round trip 6.4km

Cafe Hanneri

This cafe is run by sisters who married into Mungyeong and roast their own coffee beans, and it's operated together with a pension.

The interior has a gallery feel, while the exterior feels like a garden. The cafe is quite large and has separated spaces, so it's not crowded.

The front yard of the cafe is spacious, and you can also go down to the river. Lemon cakeis recommended!

· Grocce

A new cafe where you can enjoy the first of the eight scenic spots of Gyeongbuk, Jinnamgyoban, along with coffee through large windows.

The signature menu is Mungyeong Omija Ade. There aren't many dessert options, but the tea and coffee are delicious.

Vault 1932

A company that provides premium asset custody services for the first time in Korea.

It is the only place in Korea where VIP private rental safes, which are commonly seen in overseas countries like the US and UK, are operated.

JTBC's 'Reborn Rich,' SBS's 'Again My Life,' MBC's 'Dr. Lawyer,' tvN's 'Little Women,' SBS's 'Chaebol X Detective,' and many other dramas have used this location for filming, and the demand from production companies has reportedly increased significantly.

The Hyundai Seoul <Christmas Village>

The Hyundai Seoul 'Christmas Village'

This filming location, which was able to be included in the drama because it was pre-recorded, is 'The Hyundai Seoul Christmas Village,' which saw intense 'reservations and open runs' last winter.

From December 1st to 25th, 2023, it showcased a Christmas display covering about 1,000 pyeong under the theme of 'Harry's Dream Shop (La boutique d'Harry).'

It looked like a beautifully recreated European alleyway from the Christmas season.

Inspired by the alleyway scenery where small boutiques were gathered before the emergence of shopping arcades like Burlington Arcade (Burlington Arcade) in 19th-century London, England, the space was designed.

In particular, to create the atmosphere of a fairytale alleyway, the Art Nouveau style of design that originated in England in the late 19th century and spread throughout Europe was incorporated into the design.

The interior featured a large 11m-tall Christmas tree and 16 boutiques (shops) representing the 16 department stores of Hyundai Department Store, along with a market (marche). The focus was on creating a space where customers could stay and enjoy, rather than simply displaying things.

Hyundai Department Store

This space has been dismantled after the Christmas season ended, so it is no longer available..

I'm looking forward to seeing what form it will take in the 2024 Christmas season.

A donkatsu restaurantwith the biggest merit for office workers. It's not exceptionally delicious, but all the dishes are consistently good.

If you visit with 2 or more people, you can get unlimited refills of donkatsu and tteokbokki. There are overwhelmingly more male customers.
